Yakutou Brothers added to The International
Dota 2 competition at the Esports World Cup Yakutou Brothers have been added to The International 2025 field as late replacements for the Gaimin Gladiators, who withdrew from Dota 2's season-ending event.
Also known as Yakult Brothers, the team shared its addition via social media. It also gives The International a trio of Chinese teams in the 16-team field along with Team Tidebound and Xtreme Gaming.
Yakutou Brothers finished second to Xtreme Gaming in the Chinese regional qualifiers, and was awarded the late spot over other teams including OG Esports, who finished third in the Western Europe qualifier.

The Gaimin Gladiators withdrew two weeks before the Sept. 4 start to the event, reportedly due to an internal conflict between the roster and the organization.
"I want to share that Gaimin Gladiators won't be competing at TI this year. Some internal matters between the players and the organization made it impossible for us to move forward with a roster," Gaimin Gladiators co-founder and president Nick Cuccovillo posted on his X account. "For now, I can't go into more detail as there are legal considerations involved, but I'll share more when I'm able to."
