Mandatory Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-Imagn Images German qualifier Tatjana Maria captured her fourth career title with a 6-3, 6-4 win over eighth-seeded Amanda Anisimova on Sunday in the final of the HSBC Championships in London.
With her husband and two daughters in attendance, Maria fired seven aces and won 66 percent of her first serves to dispatch Anisimova in 1 hour and 23 minutes.
Maria, 37, won her first WTA title on grass at Mallorca in 2018 before emerging victorious on clay in Bogota in 2022 and 2023.

Third-seeded Elise Mertens secured her second WTA Tour title of the year with a 6-3, 7-6 (4) victory over Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the final in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
Mertens, who won the Singapore Tennis Open in February, fired four aces and took advantage of seven double faults to dispatch the Romanian qualifier in 1 hour, 57 minutes and seize her 10th WTA singles title.
Mertens improved to 4-0 in her career versus Ruse, who won her only WTA Tour title on the Hamburg clay in 2021.
