Wrestler Could Have Gotten Away With Robbing A Bank If It Wasn't For His Meddling Fans
On the Combat Zone Wrestling field of battle, Nicholas Wilson went by the name of Nick Gage and his was best known for "his daring feats in the ring." Alas, grappling connoisseurs will go a half decade without seeing said daring feats unless they happen to be in a New Jersey state prison.
This is because the 30-year-old former resident of Camden — indisputably one of America's finest cities — got caught stealing roughly $3,100 from a bank last December. There's nobody to blame for this forced hiatus than the very CZW fans for whom he dared to bleed.
[He] was identified as a suspect after wrestling fans recognized him from bank surveillance photos. He later turned himself and pleaded guilty earlier this year.
Camden County prosecutors say Wilson handed a teller a note claiming he would shoot her if she didn't give him money. The teller was so traumatized that she soon quit her job, and Wilson was ordered to pay her $150 compensation as part of the sentence imposed Friday.
