Winless Sun look to get on same page vs. Dream

Mandatory Credit: Jesse Johnson-Imagn Images The Connecticut Sun still are looking for their first victory of the 2025 season, while the Atlanta Dream seek to move to the winning side of the season ledger.
The teams will look to accomplish their goals at the other's expense on Sunday afternoon in College Park, Ga.
The Sun (0-3) are averaging just 72.3 points per game.
Connecticut still seemed poised to capture its first win of the season on Friday against Minnesota, however a 23-2 run to close the game propelled the Lynx to a 76-70 victory. Inconsistency has been a major concern for rookie head coach Rachid Meziane.
"We have to have Tina [Charles] and Marina [Mabrey] on the same page," Meziane said. "Hopefully, we can find that."
Charles (15.7 points per game) and Mabrey (13.3) have been the Sun's top two scorers but have been unable to put together a good game in the same outing.
Mabrey collected 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists against Minnesota, but Charles had just four points and five boards in 30 minutes. In the previous game versus Las Vegas, Charles scored 20 points but Mabrey had just seven on 3-for-11 shooting.
Meanwhile, the Dream (2-2) are fresh off an 83-75 win over Dallas on Saturday.
Guard Allisha Gray sank four 3-pointers en route to scoring 27 points in the victory. She is averaging 19.8 points per game on the young season.
Offseason free agent signee Brittney Griner added 15 points and Brionna Jones notched a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds to draw the Dream to the .500 mark.
For Atlanta, holding Dallas to just 75 points and 36.6 percent shooting could represent a positive sign.
"Our guards were really working defensively to make it tough," Dream coach Karl Smesko said. "They were hitting some shots, but at least they were contested. ... Hopefully, that's something we can continue, that level of defense on the perimeter."
