Willson Contreras Slides Into Mia Khalifa's DMs, Refuses To Leave [Update]

Cubs catcher Willson Contreras has been on the disabled list with a strained hamstring since August 9. He has apparently spent some of that time in the DMs of former porn star Mia Khalifa, seemingly undeterred by the lack of encouraging response. But if the 25-year-old had still been unclear on whether Khalifa shared his desire for conversation, he should understand things pretty well now, as she shared screenshots of his messages today with instructions for the Cubs to come get their man:

Unrequited love is hard, but I have faith that Contreras can find someone else to reciprocate his heartfelt message of “mi friend *fire emoji*.”

Update (9:25 p.m. ET): A spokesperson for Octagon Baseball, the agency that represents Contreras, claims that his “twitter account was hacked.” They are working to resolve the matter.
