Tyson Fury Is Boxing's New Heavyweight Champion Of The World
Wladimir Klitschko’s nearly ten-year-long reign as boxing’s heavyweight champion came to an end today as British fighter and 3-1 underdog Tyson Fury defeated the Ukranian in Düsseldorf by unanimous decision. It was Klitschko’s first loss since 2004.
Klitschko seemed disinterested throughout the entire fight, barely attempting to land the concrete block right fist that knocked out 53 previous opponents while taking a number of heavy blows to the face. Fury improved his career record to 25-0 with the win, one that claimed a total of five recognized world heavyweight titles.
Lest you find coincidence: Fury’s father named him Tyson after Iron Mike.
