So What Was That Ugly Red Stain on the Field During the Jets-Titans Game?
Yesterday, KOGOD posted an update on the Jets-Titans game that featured what appeared to be an ominous looking giant blood stain in the middle of the field. It was speculated that Albert Haynesworth, who popped up from that spot and ran off the field clutching his face, had some sort of open facial wound, causing the resulting puddle. Nope, wasn't Hanyesworth — nor was it tight end Alge Crumpler who had a nasty forearm gash. It was actually a left over "red smoke stain" from some of the parachutists that landed on the field during halftime, according to Titans' PR man Robbie Boehren. "But your story was much better," he said. Yeah. It was. Mystery solved, though.
