Report: Buccaneers To Release Austin Seferian-Jenkins Following DUI Arrest
[object Object] Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested early Friday morning for drunk driving. It now looks like the Bucs are releasing him.
Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud tweeted that the team is expected to cut Jenkins loose:
And Seferian-Jenkins sent a tweet that seems to suggest his time in Tampa has come to an end:
Seferian-Jenkins was pulled over by Florida Highway Patrol at 3:42 a.m., and was determined to be under the influence after failing a field sobriety test. He was allegedly driving 15 mph over the speed limit and weaving back and forth before he was stopped.
Update (3:02 p.m.): TMZ has obtained the dash cam footage of Seferian-Jenkins’s arrest, and it reveals that he was about to get off with a warning until he started drunkenly rambling at the cops:
