Reminder: The Jets Aren't The Only Team With A Dismal QB Situation
This week, the Oakland Raiders announced that Terrelle Pryor will be the team's starting quarterback in Week 1. We're all for that, because Pryor at least has a chance to make Raiders games somewhat exciting, but NFL.com's Michael Silver is reporting that not everyone in the Raiders organization is on board with starting Pryor.
From NFL.com:
During a Wednesday appearance on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access," NFL.com's Michael Silver said there's "a lot of skepticism" about Pryor being the starting quarterback in Oakland. According to Silver, Pryor has an ally in Raider sowner Mark Davis, who would like to see what the third-year pro can do.
Fair enough. Pryor is unproven, and the team also has Matt Flynn, the guy who once threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns in a real-life NFL game, just sitting there. I'm starting to think these anonymous members of the organization who are doubting Pryor have a poi—
According to Silver, there are voices in the organization who believe [Matt] McGloin gives the Raiders the best chance to win.
Wait, you mean undrafted rookie Matt McGloin? The guy from Penn State? Oh, Raiders. That is so sad.
