Princeton Lacrosse Coach Elbows Brown Player During Game
Princeton men’s lacrosse head coach Chris Bates was placed on administrative leave after he bumped an opposing player with his shoulder during Saturday’s game against Brown.
Bates, who was on the field during play, stuck out his elbow and caught the Bears’ John Yozzo-Scaperrotta as he jogged back to his team’s bench.
Per Inside Lacrosse, Princeton released a statement saying that the incident will be reviewed. In the meantime, offensive coordinator Matt Madalon will coach the Tigers.
