Because the guy works more than any human we know, The Mighty MJD is taking a rare weekend off. (And by "rare," we mean "the first one since he started doing the site on weekends.") But we shall never forsake you here at Deadspin, so we've got a reasonable replacement who is all dolled up and ready to rock.

Yes, former ESPN Page 2er and current hot young man Dan Shanoff is gonna drive this jalopy over the weekend. Dan's taking a break from his work over at DanShanoff.com and Varsity Dad to spend some time with us. He'll guide us through Roger Clemens' debut, some NBA action and, maybe, the RBI Baseball tournament in Ohio.
