Pacers' Myles Turner exits due to head injury

Mandatory Credit: Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images Indiana center Myles Turner was ruled out of the Pacers' Thursday road game against the Los Angeles Clippers after taking a blow to the face midway through the first quarter.
Turner was inadvertently hit in the mouth by the left hand of teammate Bennedict Mathurin on a play near the Clippers' basket. He appeared groggy and was helped to the Pacers' bench before leaving for the locker room.
According to the Pacers, Turner was being evaluated for a concussion.
Turner, 28, was averaging 15.4 points with 6.7 rebounds in 45 games (all starts) this season entering play Thursday. In 10 seasons, all with the Pacers, he has averaged 14.0 points with 6.8 rebounds in 615 games (582 starts) after he was the 11th overall selection in the 2015 draft out of Texas.
