NFL Execs Keep Refusing Interviews For The Jets' GM Job
The New York Jets need a new coach and a new general manager, and they've been asking a lot of people around the league if they might be interested in interviewing for the latter job. A good chunk of the people they've reached out to have answered that request with a hard pass.
NJ.com reported today that the Chiefs' director of player personnel, Chris Ballard, refused an interview request from the Jets. This came just a few hours after the NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that Ryan Pace, the Saints' director of player personnel, was also not interested in the job:
Pace and Ballard now join Ravens assistant GM Eric DeCosta and Vikings assistant GM George Paton in the club of NFL executives who couldn't even be bothered to interview with the crap-ass Jets. The team has, however, completed six interviews for the GM job, meaning that they are batting .600 on interview requests. At this point, I think we can count that as a victory.
