NBA, NBAPA Agree On New CBA And Draymond Green Is Also Mad About Something [Update]

There will not be another NBA lockout next year, as the NBA and NBAPA reached an agreement on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The deal has not been ratified yet, but Adrian Wojnarowski reports that it will be a seven-year deal. Here’s the NBA’s full release.

The NBA and NBPA have reached a tentative agreement on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, pending ratification by players and team owners.

In order to give both sides enough time to review the terms of the agreement and vote to ratify, the parties have agreed to extend the mutual deadline to opt out of the existing CBA from Dec. 15, 2016, to Jan. 13, 2017.

Also, these may or not may not be Draymond Green subtweets expressing displeasure with the new deal. They came right before Woj’s initial tweet, so who knows, but also, they came right before Woj’s initial tweet.
