The Cowboys (6-5) led by 11 points in the first half before settling for a two-point advantage at halftime. The early second half featured a pair of ties and two lead changes before Oklahoma State fashioned a 12-2 run punctuated by Jevon Small's 3-pointer with 7:57 to play.
Wofford pulled to within 67-64 after two free throws by Kyler Filewich with 2:10 to play. But a layup by Quion Williams followed by a breakaway dunk by Brandon Garrison with 1:01 left allowed the Cowboys enough cushion to get to the finish line.
Small added 14 points and Eric Dailey Jr. had 12 for the Cowboys, who have won a season-high three straight games. Oklahoma State went 15 of 33 from beyond the arc, outscoring Wofford by 27 points from long distance.
Corey Tripp racked up 24 points for the Terriers (6-6), while Filewich added 16 points and 11 rebounds. The Terriers stayed close thanks to a 46-14 edge in points in the paint and a 35-28 rebounding advantage.
The Cowboys were in control early on, building a 24-11 lead after Marsh's jumper at the 11:51 mark of the first half. Wofford began to whittle away at the deficit, as a 9-3 run capped by a 3-pointer by Chase Martin brought the Terriers to within 27-20.
Wofford drew to within 30-26 after Tripp's layup with 4:53 to play in the first half.
Oklahoma State responded, as a layup by Jamyron Keller and a jumper by Dailey built the Cowboys' lead back to eight points with 3:33 remaining. The Terriers then finished the half on another 9-3 run to pull to within 37-35 at the break.
Filewich led all scorers in the half with 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor. Wofford shot 53.3 percent in the first half but cooled off in the second, shooting 45.2 percent.
