Liverpool Hulk-Smashed Everton

I mean, just look at this:
Unreal.
Stats are one thing, but these highlights offer a better glimpse of exactly how Liverpool dominated and Everton rolled over:
The game was fairly close in the first half, in the sense that Liverpool weren’t able to score any of the great chances they conjured at will during the first 40 minutes. Then Liverpool sent in a couple good crosses, and Everton’s back line—only halfway interested in attempting to do their job well in even the best of times—got sort of bored or tired or whatever and didn’t care much about doing the dirty work like contesting headers or marking a man when he’s a few dozen inches away from the goal line with the ball flying toward his face, and so Liverpool went 2-0 up before halftime.
The second half was even worse, thanks in large part to Ramiro Funes Mori’s nasty tackle on Divock Origi, which earned the Everton defender a deserved red card and the Liverpool striker a ride off the pitch on a stretcher. Liverpool really started to trample all over Everton while up a man, with Daniel Sturridge getting the third before Philippe Coutinho capped the game off with a typical outside the box curler. This poor kid spoke for all his fellow Toffees:
