Linda Cohn Is Suing An Ice Rink After A Change Machine Fell On Her
Back in March, ESPN anchor Linda Cohn was set to strap on the goalie pads and face shots from the Rangers' AHL affiliate. It didn't happen because of some rowdy children, and now Cohn is taking it to court.
"This is what kept me from taking ice w/ @WolfpackAHL today," Cohn tweeted on March 27 along with a photo of her stitched-up arm. "Some kids playing in arcade knocked over metal machine onto my arm 25 stitches."
Last month, Cohn filed a suit in Manhattan federal court. It accuses the owners and operators of the Brewster (N.Y.) Ice Arena of negligence, and says Cohn
"continues to endure great pain and suffering," and "continues to be unable to engage in and attend to all daily activities, pursuits and pleasure associated with (her)person and station in life."
The suit seeks unspecified money damages.
