Let Braun Strowman Destroy Things
Braun Strowman is a massive man. He’s listed at 6-foot-8, 385 pounds. He looks like he could beat up almost anyone. “Pro wrestler” is a good profession for him!
Strowman came to wrestling after a short strongman career. He hasn’t been wrestling for very long, either: His first match was in December 2014. But WWE’s done a pretty good job with him. He debuted on Raw in August 2015 as a member of the Wyatt Family. Who would’ve thought the guy who awkwardly choked Roman Reigns that night would become a compelling character two and a half years later? Strowman looks like a guy who should break stuff. And last night Braun Strowman toppled part of the backstage set of Raw.
The backstory: Strowman’s in a triple-threat match with Kane for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Title at the Royal Rumble later this month. Paul Heyman cut a promo for Brock, then Kane attacked Lesnar as he walked to the back. Strowman then ran in, threw Lesnar and Kane through tables, then found a grappling hook, tossed it over a bit of the set and pulled. He pulled a rig down on Lesnar and Kane. It didn’t really make much sense—why did WWE have an easily accessible grappling hook backstage?—but that doesn’t really matter. It was great!
Keep letting Braun Strowman destroying things. It makes for great television.
