LeBron James Caps 27-Point Comeback, Is Frightening
Here's LeBron James erasing what was a 27-point deficit with an egregious pull-up three before turning towards the Cleveland crowd to strike a conqueror's pose. It's kind of scary, isn't it? Not scary because LeBron James is a frightening person, but because it's unsettling to know that someone can be that good at basketball.
With 6:12 remaining in the third quarter, LeBron had seven points, five rebounds, and two assists while his team trailed by 24. And then he decided that he was done messing around, so he spent the next 19 minutes torturing the Cavs, leading his team to a 98-95 victory and finishing with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Most impressive was LeBron's work on the boards, which saw him out-muscling the entire Cavs frontline on multiple occasions.
It was impossible not to notice the life draining out of the Cavs as LeBron made his run. There was simply nothing they could do about it. He didn't want to be stopped, and so nobody could stop him. This is the state of LeBron's NBA: he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants to, and all anyone else can do is watch.
