Last Night's Winner: Fans Of Fingering
In sports everyone's a winner — some win better than others, like every headline writer who's dreamed of using the verb "finger." Last night was a flat-out finger blast for those folks.
First Floyd Landis admits to doping then, in a shocking twist, also fingers Armstrong. Fox Sports says he was fingered. Of course, the San Francisco Chronicle let it be known that Landis fingered Armstrong. According to the photo they used to accompany this story, it appears Landis is quite elated to be fingering someone so popular:
ESPN, the Worldwide Leader, however, is not a fan of fingering. They have strict policies about that sort of thing (so I've heard). But that policy could change if another athlete gets fingered. Like, say, Santana Moss. Also, fans of two-fingered activities will be pleased to know that there is a public memorial service planned for Ronnie James Dio.
