Jonny Gomes Gives Obnoxious, Wonderful Victory Speech At Royals' World Series Parade

Jonny Gomes didn’t have a single plate appearance in the Royals’ postseason run, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t preen and shout at the team’s World Series parade today. Give him a hell yeah, brother.

Gomes, who has an American flag on him at all times, grabbed the microphone and thanked the Royals’ front office and fans for helping them win a championship. Game 5 pinch-hitter Christian Colon gave credit to Gomes for helping him throughout the season, so the bench player earned a couple of minutes of airtime:

Gomes then tossed the microphone before disappearing to begin his offseason search for the next clubhouse in need of a pro wrestler posing as a ballplayer.
