Jonathan Lucroy Has A Quirk When He Bats
Many MLB players have odd routines at the plate. Ichiro draws his bat out in front of himself like a bow. David Ortiz takes approximately five hours to adjust his gloves. Jonathan Lucroy touches his shoulders. The Brewers catcher’s habit isn’t as elaborate as others’, but it is amusing.
The Arizona Diamondbacks’ broadcast put up a counter of how many times the Milwaukee Brewers catcher indulged in his habit. Lucroy doesn’t seem to have an established number of shoulder touches for each swing, but when the jersey’s covering too much of his arms, he pulls it up. (Mobile readers can watch here.)
If Lucroy wants help, Chris Sale could probably modify the uniform for him.
