Jets LB Dylan Donahue Charged With DWI After Driving Wrong Way In Lincoln Tunnel, Hitting Bus
credits: Adrian Kraus | source: [object Object] Jets rookie linebacker Dylan Donahue was arrested early Monday morning after he crashed his car into a bus while driving the wrong way in the Lincoln Tunnel, according to Port Authority officials. Donahue crashed into the bus around 2:00 a.m. this morning, and four passengers were injured in the crash, although the New York Post reports that none of the injuries are believed to be serious.
After blowing a .15 on a breathalyzer, Donahue was charged with a DWI and reckless driving, and a witness described some extremely unsafe driving behavior:
A PA cop witnessed Donahue, who was the Jets’ fifth-round pick in the 2017 draft, driving his green Dodge Charger Hellcat around traffic cones into the center tube and against westbound traffic.
NJ.com has a photo from the scene, and it looks like the front end of Donahue’s car was pretty heavily smashed in. Donahue is the second Jet to be arrested this offseason, after WR Robby Anderson was stopped driving 105 mph in a 45 zone and threatened to fuck the officer’s wife and “nut in her eye.”
