Jeremy Lin Signs With The Nets, And That's Cool For Everyone
Are you ready for the return of Linsanity? Are you ready for... BrookLinsanity?! Sorry. I’m sorry.
Anyway, Jeremy Lin, once the short-lived savior of the New York Knicks, plays for the Brooklyn Nets now:
The Nets are reportedly giving Lin a three-year deal worth $36 million, which is a pretty good bargain considering the amount of money that’s already getting thrown around. Lin could have probably gotten more money elsewhere, but Woj is reporting that he has a player option for the third year, so maybe Lin put more value on flexibility than guaranteed dollars.
This seems like a good, sensible signing for all the parties involved. Good job, Nets and Jeremy Lin.
