Imprisoned Cowboys Fan Sues NFL For $89B For Reversing Dez Bryant Catch
Terry Hendrix, currently incarcerated in Colorado and a serial filer of frivolous lawsuits, has finally struck upon a real injustice. He's suing the NFL for nearly $89 billion for the officiating decision to overturn Dez Bryant's reception in the Cowboys' playoff loss to the Packers.
Hendrix's handwritten filing is "on behalf of Dez Bryant #88, all Dallas Cowboys fans, and all people in or from the Sovereign Republic of Texas." It names as defendants the NFL, Roger Goodell, referee Gene Steratore, and head of officiating Dean Blandino, and accuses them of "fraud, theft and gross stupidity in the face of an undeniable catch."
The suit goes on to predict what would have happened had Bryant's reception stood:
"The Cowboys' offensive line would have perfectly created an 'Autobahn' for DeMarco Murray to drive into the endzone for the score and victory."
He's seeking a very specific $88,987,654,321.88.
