Frank Clark Keeps Punching People And This Time It's Philip Rivers
San Diego Chargers players are mad at Seattle Seahawks rookie Frank Clark today, after he punched Philip Rivers in a scrum during last night’s preseason game in San Diego. As you can see, Rivers holds onto Clark after the play, which looks like it angered him. King Dunlap emphatically pulled Clark off of Rivers, which earned him a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty.
Clark blamed emotions for getting the better of him, telling the Seattle Times, “It’s a lot of emotions is involved. I’m a real emotional player but there are ways you react and ways you don’t react.” Rivers later left the game with a hand injury and the Seahawks won 16-15 on a 60-yard Steven Hauschka field goal.
Frank Clark was drafted in the second round of the 2015 draft despite getting kicked off the Michigan team for domestic violence after he punched his then-girlfriend in the face in a hotel. Clark plead down to a reduced charge of persistent disorderly conduct. The Seahawks claimed a thorough investigation into Clark’s actions, but it was mostly bullshit.
