Mark Scheifele scored an empty-net goal for the Jets with 29 seconds remaining, while Nino Niederreiter and Morgan Barron also scored third-period goals for Winnipeg, who trailed 2-0 early in the final period.
With just under two minutes remaining, Vilardi sent a shot toward the Ducks goal from the top of the right circle that slipped through Anaheim goalkeeper John Gibson to give the Jets their first lead after they trailed 2-0 early in the third period.
Connor Hellebuyck had 25 saves for the Jets, who have won nine of their last 12 games.
Alex Killorn and Adam Henrique scored and John Gibson had 27 saves as the Ducks saw their losing streak extend to four games while going 1-12 since Nov 15.
Killorn scored on the power play at 16:07 of the second period when he found a loose puck in front of the Jets goal and put Anaheim up 1-0.
The Ducks made it 2-0 at 1:15 of the third period when Henrique scored off a pass from Jakob Silfverberg to beat a sprawling Hellebuyck. It was Henrique's fifth of the season.
Winnipeg tied the score in a span of four minutes when Niederreiter scored at 1:58 of the third period, his seventh, and Barron scored his fifth at 5:55 of the final frame.
Winnipeg points leader Kyle Connor was knocked from the game early in the second period after taking a knee from Anaheim's Ryan Strome, but the Jets were unable to score on the ensuing five-minute power play. Strome was given a game misconduct.
Forwards Trevor Zegras and Isac Lundestrom, as well as defenseman Jamie Drysdale, remain on injured reserve for the Ducks, while forward Mason McTavish also was out Sunday. Zegras and Drysdale returned to practice this weekend.
