Flames score 5 consecutive goals to surge past Canucks
Nov 23, 2025; Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN; Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf (32) blocks a shot by Vancouver Canucks left wing Jake Debrusk (74) at Rogers Arena. Mandatory Credit: Simon Fearn-Imagn Images Blake Coleman collected one goal and one assist while Rasmus Andersson recorded three assists to lead the visiting Calgary Flames a 5-2 victory over the slumping Vancouver Canucks on Sunday.
Morgan Frost, Connor Zary, Kevin Bahl and Yegor Sharangovich also scored for the Flames, who have won three straight games for the first time this season, including on two consecutive nights.
Nazem Kadri and Mikael Backlund both had a pair of assists, while goaltender Dustin Wolf made 28 saves in the first outing of a five-game road trip that now goes to Florida.
Andersson has equaled a career high with a five-game point streak in which the defenseman has netted two goals and eight assists.
Filip Hronek and Quinn Hughes replied for the Canucks, who have lost three consecutive games and managed only one win in seven outings (1-4-2).
Goalie Kevin Lankinen stopped 16 of 21 shots for Vancouver.
After Hronek opened the scoring on the game's first shot 65 seconds into the tilt, the Flames took the lead for good with a pair of goals 35 seconds apart en route to five consecutive tallies. Frost replied for Calgary with a perfect re-direct of an Andersson pass at 7:33 of the opening period to tie the clash.
Zary then put Calgary ahead with his first goal since the season opener, sliding home a loose puck to snap a 20-game goal drought.
Bahl extended the lead just past the midway point of the second period with a fortunate tally. His pass attempt to the front of the net banked into the cage off the skate of Vancouver defenseman Tom Willander.
Sharangovich made it a 4-1 game at 16:31 of the middle frame, batting a rebound out of mid-air during a strong shift, and then Coleman's short-handed goal at 7:59 of the third period made it a 5-1 game, his 300th career point.
Hughes responded 17 seconds later with a coast-to-coast rush for the power-play goal, but the hosts failed to pull closer.
