Edmonton Oiler Does Good Thing

We only have one more game of the Oilers this NHL season—Saturday at 10 p.m. against the Canucks, if you’re a fan of sadness—so let’s send them off with a highlight. Here is a legitimately positive feat done by a member of the Edmonton Oilers from Thursday night’s game. This is not a joke.

Oilers goalie Laurent Brossoit stuck out his foot for a timely save on Matt Irwin’s shot in the third period. Savor it. Brossoit had 49 saves on the night.

Now, back to reality: The Sharks scored three times in the third for a 3-1 win.
