Dominic Rhodes Has A Secret That's Running Down His Leg
Earlier this week, when would-be Super Bowl MVP Dominic Rhodes was arrested for a DUI, we kind of let it pass. DUIs happen all the time, are more tragic than funny and there didn't seem to be any extenuating circumstances about the arrest. He was pulled over, he was over the legal limit, he got busted. Not much too it. Even the officer who pulled him over said it was just another traffic stop, nothing big.
But now the story has become a little bit more fun, because it appears Rhodes had a wee bit of an accident.
Hafez said he clocked Rhodes at 82 mph in a 55-mph zone and watched the Colts player's GMC Yukon drive onto the shoulder briefly just after 3 a.m. Tuesday on northbound I-65 near 71st Street. After failing two field-sobriety tests, Rhodes told Hafez he had consumed two or three alcoholic drinks. While sitting in the police car's front seat, Rhodes urinated on himself, the report said.
We could think of worse incidents to happen just more than a week after winning a Super Bowl, but we there aren't many; when one is chronicling one's low moments in life, peeing on one's self in a police car has to be near the top, or bottom, or whichever. But hey: We've all been there, man ... we've all been there. Well, maybe not there.
