Dez Bryant Got Hurt, Stayed Hyped
One of the worst things about Week 1 is the inevitable rash of injuries that knocks a half-dozen or so stars out for a good portion of the season. Dez Bryant’s injury wasn’t the most serious of the day, but he’ll need surgery on his broken foot and will miss the next four to six weeks. Don’t worry about Bryant, though, because he isn’t letting the bad news keep his spirits down:
That’s Bryant, right after watching his team snatch a last-second victory away from the Giants, limping out into the hallway to scream and congratulate people as they returned to the locker room. My favorite part is the poor guy who has to go out there and tell Bryant that he shouldn’t be, you know, jumping around on his broken foot like that.
