Cubs Fans Began Gathering In Wrigleyville Just After Dawn
[object Object] The Chicago Cubs haven’t hosted a World Series game since 1945, so the locals are obviously pumped for tonight’s game against the Indians. In fact, they are get-to-the-bar-at-7:45-a.m. pumped.
There were lines to get into bars by 8:00 a.m.
Also, some bars in the area are charging $250 just to get inside, which actually seems fair from their perspective given that’s essentially the tax they’re charging for being willing to put up with the kind of bros who want to have put in a solid 12 hours of drinking before the game even starts. My take? Chicago is a very, very big city, and there are probably cheaper and more pleasant ways to enjoy tonight’s game. Consider a White Sox bar! Thank you for your time.
