CU Football Player Arrested For Allegedly Throwing Mud At Girlfriend
University of Colorado running back Terrence Crowder was arrested on domestic violence charges early Sunday morning after getting into an argument and physical altercation with his girlfriend. Mud was allegedly involved.
According to police, Crowder got into an argument with his girlfriend after she had discovered some text messages on his phone that made her upset. Crowder then left his girlfriend's house around 2:30 a.m., and she followed him outside. She then asked Crowder if she could continue walking with him because a group of men who were also outside had begun whistling at her and making her uncomfortable. That's when things apparently got ugly.
From The Daily Camera:
Crowder told her no and crossed the street to create distance between them, according to the report. The woman said Crowder then began throwing small rocks and other flood debris at her. Then Crowder rubbed mud in her hair and pulled her hair, she told police.
The woman began running toward Williams Village at 30th Street and Baseline Road. Crowder followed and kicked her legs, trying to trip her, according to the report. The woman got away and saw a CU police officer nearby.
Glad to see the situation was handled so maturely.
