Craig Ehlo Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges
Former NBA player Craig Ehlo, best known for being the other guy in "The Shot" by Michael Jordan in 1989, was arrested this morning in Spokane, Wash., on charges related to domestic violence.
The Spokesman-Review said Ehlo, 51, was booked in county jail at 7:36 a.m. on charges of first-degree reckless burning and domestic violence. No other details have been released. This is how reckless burning is defined by the law in the state of Washington:
(1) A person is guilty of reckless burning in the first degree if he or she recklessly damages a building or other structure or any vehicle, railway car, aircraft, or watercraft or any hay, grain, crop, or timber whether cut or standing, by knowingly causing a fire or explosion.
(2) Reckless burning in the first degree is a class C felony.
Ehlo, who played 14 seasons in the NBA for the Rockets, Cavs, Hawks, and Sonics, resigned July 11 after two years as an assistant basketball coach at Eastern Washington University.
