Bryce Harper Ignores Warning Track, Smashes Face Against Wall
It's called a warning track for a reason.
Up 6-0 in the fifth inning at Chavez Ravine, you might expect the Nationals' Bryce Harper to ease up on a long drive and play it off the wall. That's not how Harper plays, apparently, and much to the detriment of his head and neck which came out of this collision in a bad place. So too, it seems, his brain. Harper did end up walking off the field, though whether he knew where he was at the time is still in question. [MASN]
