Broken Necks Cost You 20 Games
This image was lost some time after publication. NHL commissioner dwarf Gary Bettman announced yesterday that Vancouver Canucks forward Todd Bertuzzi would be allowed to return to the NHL at the beginning of this season. In case you forgot, Bertuzzi is the guy who brained Colorado forward Steve Moore, attacking him from behind and — literally — breaking his neck. This means Bertuzzi's total suspension was 13 regular season games and seven playoff games. Moore is not expected to play hockey again.
Off Wing Opinion has a rundown of the Web's news and views on the topic, including Nasber's Blog, which opines that Moore's former Colorado's teammates not only don't mind the short suspension ... they might actually dislike Moore.
