Bradley Beal Says Scott Brooks Apologized To Him For His Role In Beal's Dreadful Playoffs
credits: Claus Andersen | source: [object Object] Bradley Beal, like his team in general, is not having a good playoff series against the Toronto Raptors. Beal shot just 3-for-11 in Game 2, scoring just nine points and picking up four fouls en route to an atrocious plus-minus of -34 in 25 minutes. Overall, Beal is scoring 14 points per game and has only made three three-pointers in two games. Given that Beal scored 28.8 points per game in the regular season against the Raptors, that’s concerning!
After Game 2, coach Scott Brooks met with Beal and John Wall, and Beal revealed today that Brooks took the opportunity to apologize to Beal. “He apologized to me, which was weird,” Beal said, adding, “I guess he figured I wasn’t shooting the ball enough and he thought it was his fault. I don’t know.”
Maybe GM Ernie Grunfeld will apologize next for the crappy roster he built.
