Blues F Dylan Holloway takes puck to neck, hospitalized

Holloway was in stable condition at the hospital, the team announced. DailyFaceoff.com reported that Holloway had no issues with his airway, no neck swelling and that doctors said he would be all right.
Holloway finished his shift after being hit but received medical attention once he returned to the bench. His neck was stabilized before he was taken to the locker room on a stretcher. He was then transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
With 1:11 left in the first period, the game was stopped for an early intermission. The game resumed with the final 1:11 of the first period, followed immediately by the second period.
Holloway, 23, is in his first season with the Blues after spending his first two NHL campaigns with the Edmonton Oilers. He has four goals and two assists in 13 games for St. Louis.
