Big Ben Claims The Steelers Haven't Been Cursed By Justin Bieber
On Saturday, Justin Bieber and the Pittsburgh Steelers were both at a worship service. Cam Heyward and Bruce Gradkowski took photos with the amateur basketball player, who was wearing a Yinzer-tastic shirt. The next day, the Steelers lost to the Jets, 20-13. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I find that to be sufficient enough evidence that this crooning imp should not be allowed near any sports teams.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger disagrees. There is no Bieber curse, according to him. Per Scott Brown of ESPN:
"That's not a big deal at all," Roethlisberger said on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. "For instance, [former Steelers wide receiver] Plaxico Burress stopped by. Obviously he's family, but people stop by all of the time and say, 'Hi,' and we've had other athletes, actors, celebrities, stuff like that stop by. It's not a big deal at all."
Roethlisberger said he did not meet Bieber because he had been eating dinner before the Steelers' quarterbacks meeting. He said that Bieber attended the worship service because the person leading it is also mentoring Bieber.
There's totally a Bieber curse.
