Baltimore Ravens Head Of Security Charged With Sex Offense
Darren I. Sanders, the Baltimore Ravens' senior director of security, was charged with committing a sex offense Tuesday night, according to The Baltimore Sun:
Police obtained a summons for Sanders, the team's senior director of security and a former Baltimore police homicide detective, on a charge of fourth-degree sex offense stemming from allegations lodged Dec. 14, according to online court records and a law enforcement source with knowledge of the case.
Details of the case were not immediately available. A lawyer representing Sanders and a spokesperson for the Ravens did not return calls seeking comment.
A fourth-degree sex offense is punishable by a maximum of a year in jail or a fine of $1,000, or both.
You may remember Sanders from his role in the Ray Rice saga, when he waited seven months to email New Jersey police for arrest reports about Rice's domestic assault incident.
