Badgers Knock Off Previously Undefeated Wildcats, Championship Is Set
Wisconsin did it!
The second game of the Final Four delivered in drama, intrigue and good-ass basketball. The Badgers finally put a tally in the loss column for Kentucky, who entered the game 38-0.
The Wildcats bounced back after facing an early deficit in the first half, and sent the game into the break tied at 36. The game remained close down the stretch of the second half, until Wisconsin pulled away in the last few minutes.
The Badgers’ win robs us of the Jahlil Okafor-Karl-Anthony Towns matchup in the final, but also prevents us from having to root for Duke or Kentucky. The Wisconsin-Duke matchup should be interesting, and also pretty white.
So, who ya got for the last college basketball game of the season? Did you win your bracket pool? It’s looking like we should get one more great game Monday night.
